Coordinator, Social Media (GSW)

About the Position

The Golden State Warriors are looking for an upbeat and highly motivated Coordinator to join the Social Media team. In this role, you will create and publish content across Warriors and Warriors Shop social media channels. This position reports to the Sr. Manager, Social Media.

This is a full-time position based onsite in San Francisco, CA.

Key Responsibilities
• Create and publish content across our Warriors and Warriors Shop social channels
• Support Social Media team in game day and event coverage (i.e., content creation, publishing, behind-the-scenes content capture, etc.)
• Assist in maintaining our daily, weekly, and monthly content calendars
• Monitor real-time trends, and quickly react and produce content around them when appropriate
• Collaborate with Social Media team to deliver corporate sponsorship obligations across organic social platforms
• Aid in the implementation of industry standards across social channels
• Other duties as assigned

Required Experience & Skills
• Bachelor's degree or equivalent work experience
• Minimum 2 years of experience creating social media content, preferably within the sports, entertainment, or retail industries
• Strong understanding of social media platforms and digital landscape strategy
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, Adobe Photoshop and Premiere (or related video editing software)
• Excellent communication, service and resolution skills
• Ability to build positive working relationships with clients and peers at all levels within the organization
• Ability to balance multiple projects at once in a fast-paced work environment
