The Role

We are looking for a passionate and forward-thinking Systems Support to join the Montreal team. It's a challenging and ever-changing, technology-led environment so we need a quick learner who is a natural problem solver. The Systems team is responsible for designing, implementing, maintaining and troubleshooting the technology infrastructure. This includes, but not limited to, storage, networking, workstations, cloud, virtualization and rendering.

As a Systems Support, you'll dedicate a lot of your time to helping and supporting the team in maintaining the day-to-day infrastructure. You will be the first responder to incidents and requests supporting all Framestore Canadian divisions. This role is designed to get familiar with the different technologies and gain as much experience as possible in the IT field to boost your career.

What does your day-to-day look like?
• Be the first line of support for all incidents and requests using the Jira service desk
• Workstation configuration support (hardware and software)
• Maintain a variety of physical and logical systems
• Diagnose and replace hardware components
• Help and interact with artists and production on a daily basis
• Manage assets and loan equipment, including relocation and provisioning
• Produce and update documentation using Confluence.
• Partake in an on-call rotation to provide support during the weekend

• Hands-on hardware experience; builds, upgrades, repair
• Active Directory management
• Configuration Management (Puppet, Ansible)
• Windows Systems administration and deployment (WDS, SCCM/MDT, WSUS)
• Networking (Layer1, Layer2)
• VOIP Knowledge (PBX, SIP)
