Fox Television Stations is one of the nation's largest owned-and-operated network broadcast groups, comprising 29 stations in 18 markets and covering over 37% of US television homes. This includes seven duopolies in the top 10 markets: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, Washington, DC and Houston; as well as duopolies in Minneapolis, Phoenix, Orlando and Seattle.

JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX 29 is seeking a creative, experienced TV Director to lead the production/execution of all of our on-air newscasts, original programming and all other on air productions. Must be able to direct, or learn to direct, newscasts using production automation technology. Will be responsible for coordinating and creating selected graphics for newscasts and perform other duties as assigned. 2-3 years control room experience required. Needs to effectively communicate with producers and crew. We are looking for someone who wants to ''Go There'' and get involved in a ''non-traditional'' format. Candidates are expected to contribute ideas and work with the producer and talent on the vision of the broadcast. Ability to work well under pressure, sensitive to deadlines, attention to detail and knowledge of Sony ELC and Chyron Hyper X a plus.
Our ideal candidate has 2+ years of directing experience in a top 20 market, or 3+ years in smaller markets. Bachelor's degree preferred.
