Job Description
Fox Television Stations is one of the nation's largest owned-and-operated network broadcast groups, comprising 29 stations in 18 markets and covering over 37% of US television homes. This includes seven duopolies in the top 10 markets: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, Washington, DC and Houston; as well as duopolies in Minneapolis, Phoenix, Orlando and Seattle.
JOB DESCRIPTION
Responsible for directing multi-camera live and pre-taped news and local interest programming. Responsible for working collaboratively with the production team to execute new visual and audio elements in a professional way and creative way. Works and communicates with producers, talent and crew to visualize ideas and concepts based on creative experience.
Qualified candidate will have a minimum of 5 years directing live local news programming. Experience operating/coding Sony ELC automation systems, operating Chyron ISQ system and using the iNews Newsroom Content Management system a plus.
