This includes seven duopolies in the top 10 markets: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, Washington, D.C. and Houston; as well as duopolies in Minneapolis, Phoenix, Orlando and Seattle.

JOB DESCRIPTION
WTTG Fox 5 TV – Washington DC's #1 News Station with the most hours of local news has a remarkable opportunity for a motivated and dynamic News Reporter. This position requires a highly creative individual with the ability to research, write and deliver compelling news stories that maintain viewer interest. The ideal candidate will be an outstanding storyteller and live on-air performer with strong interviewing skills, solid journalistic judgment and the ability to ad-lib effectively. Must work cohesively with producers, editors and photographers to create captivating news stories and features, taped and live, to connect with the viewers and grow ratings. Must be able to work accurately and efficiently within time constraints. Recent experience and proficiency with newsroom computers, live news technology and related software required. Will make public appearances on behalf of the station. Work with social media to attract, inform and engage the audience. Ideal candidates will be able to demonstrate their success at developing and maintaining powerful story source networks. Bachelor's degree in Journalism or related field required. Minimum 5 years industry experience, 3+ years in a medium to large market. Investigative journalism required. Must have, or be willing to obtain, a valid driver's license and be able to drive. Local/national travel, weekends, holidays and varied hours required. Candidates must submit resume and video/link of recent work.
