Fox Television Stations is one of the nation's largest owned-and-operated network broadcast groups, comprising 29 stations in 18 markets and covering over 37% of U.S. television homes. This includes seven duopolies in the top 10 markets: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, Washington, D.C. and Houston; as well as duopolies in Minneapolis, Phoenix, Orlando and Seattle.

JOB DESCRIPTION
WTTG/WDCA Fox TV in the Washington DC television market is seeking a creative Producer with strong writing skills, superior news judgment and never short on ideas! Will select stories, assemble them in a rundown, create graphics, write copy and teases, time the show from the control room, and coordinate Reporter assignments. Ideal candidate works well with others, is active in brainstorming sessions and is always current on what is trending in social media. Strong communication skills a must. Must be aware on current events and able to work in fast-paced environment under specific time constraints. Ideal candidate thinks 'out of the box' and is always looking to find new ways to present information. Must be self-motivated and effectively work independently and on a team. Looking for a Producer with strong leadership skills. Bachelor's degree in Journalism or Communications required. Candidate must possess at least one (1) year of newsroom experience, preferably as a Line Producer. Weekends, holidays, and varied hours required.
