FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the US These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network's national content.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Duties and Responsibilities:

Seeking a producer with strong planning skills, line producing experience, and a drive for content creation. This producer will manage a combination of daily news, live interviews, Bay Area culture, and guest segments. The producer will work closely with anchors, writers, and executive producer to create unique content for multiple platforms. The producer must be an avid user of social media, understand current trends, be willing to take risks and have excellent control room skills. The producer must be able to line produce, find original content, create graphics, time a live show, troubleshoot issues under tight deadlines, and collaborate with the newsroom. Must be an excellent writer. Other duties assigned as deemed appropriate and necessary.

Minimum Requirements:

High school diploma is required; 4-year College degree is preferred. Candidate should have a minimum of 3 years' experience with fast-paced television productions. Experience with iNews or other newscast software is required. A strong technical understanding of newsroom operations is also required. Excellent communication and leadership skills are required.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $100,000.00-110,000.00 annually for California. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
