Fox Television Stations is one of the nation's largest owned-and-operated network broadcast groups, comprising 29 stations in 18 markets and covering over 37% of US television homes. This includes seven duopolies in the top 10 markets: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, Washington, DC and Houston; as well as duopolies in Minneapolis, Phoenix, Orlando and Seattle.

JOB DESCRIPTION

Come be part of the photo staff for Arizona's best news station. Job duties include covering general news assignments in a fast-paced environment using electronic VIDEO camera & editing equipment, applying techniques appropriate to each story. Understanding of different camera/media formats required. Recent on-the-street TV news photography experience required. Must have live ENG remote experience, including streaming platforms and microwave truck operation. Excellent storytelling techniques including composition, use of audio, lighting and effective editing required. Along with photography, editing is a major component of this position, whether in the field or at the station. Applicant must be able to edit ENG material both remotely and in-house for various newscasts under specific time constraints using non-linear editing equipment. Must have a working knowledge of Adobe Premiere or comparable editing platforms. Familiarity with Bitcentral newsroom systems and iNews a plus. Candidate is expected to be willing to cross-train into other areas of the news operation if needed.

Weekends, holidays, travel & varied hours required. HS diploma required, college degree pref. Must be able to lift/carry 50 lbs. equipment. Must be able to drive, have proof of insurance, obtain a valid Arizona driver's license and maintain a clean MVR. Resume and on-line link of recent work required of applicants. This position is NOT a still photographer position. Please do not send still portfolio examples/links. Examples of work must include videography and editing in a news setting.
