Fox Television Stations is one of the nation's largest owned-and-operated network broadcast groups, comprising 29 stations in 18 markets and covering over 37% of US television homes. This includes seven duopolies in the top 10 markets: New York, Los Angeles, Chicago, Dallas, San Francisco, Washington, DC and Houston; as well as duopolies in Minneapolis, Phoenix, Orlando and Seattle.

JOB DESCRIPTION

KSAZ FOX 10, Arizona's best news station, is looking for a full-time video editor who can also cover general news assignments as a photographer when needed. The primary responsibility of this position will be editing for our daily newscasts but on occasion will include photo responsibilities in the field. Applicant must be able to edit highly-produced, graphics intense content under specific time constraints using non-linear editing equipment. Experience with Adobe Premiere or similar editing platforms required. Familiarity with Bitcentral and iNews newsroom systems a plus. Field responsibilities will include gathering news content using a professional ENG camera and associated tools, editing remotely and utilizing our Live U streaming platform for live elements included in our newscasts. Candidate is expected to be willing to cross-train into other areas of the news operation if needed.

Variable hours required, including weekends and holidays. HS diploma required, college degree in related field preferred. Must be able to lift/carry 50 lbs. of equipment. Must be able to drive, obtain a valid AZ driver's license and maintain a clean MVR. Resume and on-line link of recent work required of all applicants. This is not a still photography position. Applicants should not submit still portfolios. Work examples should include both videography and editing in a news setting.
