Fox Television Stations is one of the nation's largest owned-and-operated network broadcast groups, comprising 29 stations in 18 markets and covering over 37% of US television homes. JOB DESCRIPTION

JOB TITLE: Weekend WakeUp Anchor/Reporter
FOX 6 News is seeking an Anchor/Reporter to join our award winning news team on weekend mornings! You'll need to be personable and confident on the news desk. Someone who can connect with viewers and have meaningful conversations about any topic…anytime! We are looking for an aggressive storyteller who strives for excellence and relentlessly pursues every story with passion and purpose! RESPONSIBILITIES:
You will anchor two hours of morning news on weekends and then report for the rest of your schedule. You will need to develop sources and have a passion for hard news as well as longer format type stories. You'll also need to be great on breaking news when the opportunity presents itself.
Our expectations are high, but we have a culture in our newsroom that encourages collaboration and out of the box thinking! You must work well with others and have a winning attitude!!

QUALIFICATIONS:
Live reporting skills and a minimum of 3 years of news experience is required. A college degree (preferably in Journalism) is required. A team player who works well with photojournalists, editors, producers and managers is an absolute necessity. Non-linear editing skills a plus. You must be able to show us your exceptional writing, live shot and anchoring skills on one reel so send us your best work today!
