FOX Television Stations owns and operates 29 full power broadcast television stations in the US These include stations located in 14 of the top 15 largest designated market areas, or DMAs, and duopolies in 11 DMAs, including the three largest DMAs (New York, Los Angeles and Chicago). Of these stations, 18 are affiliated with the FOX Network. In addition to distributing sports, entertainment and syndicated content, our television stations collectively produce approximately 1,200 hours of local news every week. These stations leverage viewer, distributor and advertiser demand for the FOX Network's national content.

WTTG/WDCA – Multimedia Content Manager (Regular Full-Time, Weekends)

Role Highlights:
• Manage daily editorial flow, including assigning multi-media journalists, photojournalists and digital producers to cover daily news stories and events.
• Supervise and schedule assignment desk staff.
• Review scripts, digital content, for all platforms.
• Manage Live Streams for multiple platforms as needed.
• Implement and have working knowledge of federal, state and local laws impacting operations.
• Assist editorial staff in developing all news coverage plans.
• Work closely with executive producers on distribution of coverage.
• Complete and deliver performance evaluations for direct reports.
• Knowledge of and proficiency in posting content to station websites.
• Perform other duties as assigned, reporting to the Assistant News Director/News Director.

What You'll Need:
• Education & Experience: Bachelor's degree in related discipline preferred or equivalent years of experience. Minimum of eight years of experience working in a media environment. Minimum of three years in a managerial/leadership role.
• Skills: Advanced oral and written communication skills. Advanced computer skills and cloud services/applications, including Microsoft and other desktop, web, and mobile applications.
• Technical: Broad understanding of newsroom operations and equipment.
• Leadership: Proven and effective leadership skills; foster open dialogue, empowers others, addresses conflict quickly and directly.

FOX 5 DC / FOX 5 Plus is a 24/7 operation. Flexibility in scheduling is essential, including evenings, early mornings, weekends, and holidays, and in the case of breaking news.

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $110,000.00-140,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
