We're hiring a Digital Content Manager for NewsNOW from FOX, FOX TV Stations' national live streaming news product. Reporting to the Executive Producer, the Digital Content Manager will oversee publishing and content creation for newsnowfox.com and other digital properties. This position is based at our NewsNOW headquarters in Orlando, Florida.

Oversee creation of compelling, UX-focused news and event-based content relevant to digital users across the country and beyond, including text stories, photos/graphics, live streaming content, video on demand, breaking news and social media elements. Serve as digital leader and resource for the NewsNOW team. Work with NewsNOW management team to develop content designed to grow audience and build engagement, with user experience constantly in mind. Collaborate with digital teams in FTS markets to acquire relevant content that fits a national audience. Maintain continuous communication with Group Content Team, working together to create and display the most relevant content of the day. Stay on top of breaking news, current events, journalistic practices and industry news. Ensure published content meets quality and journalistic standards. Monitor real-time analytics, constantly looking for opportunities to win bigger. Other duties as assigned.
4+ years experience developing and publishing unique content, including news, for digital and social platforms preferred. Proven history as leader and/or project lead within a team. BA/BS degree, preferably in Journalism, Communications or related field with emphasis on digital publishing. Strong desire to advance in digital news career. Superior news judgement, writing and copy editing skills. Fanatical attention to detail. Thrive under pressure. Stellar communication skills. Social media expert. Proficient in content management systems, video publishing, live streaming, and digital analytics tools. Strong YouTube publishing experience a plus. Video and photo editing experience. Must respond quickly in case of emergency.
