Job Description
JOB DESCRIPTION
Candidate must be able to direct high content, fast paced local newscast; coordinate technical requirements of newscast with News and Engineering/Production departments to ensure a clean broadcast; assist News Producer as necessary with all technical aspects of newscast; additional duties include directing specials and other programming as assigned by the Engineering/Production department; both manual and ELC directing/coding a must.
Individual must have at least 10 years major market directing experience at a commercial broadcast station or production facility in the above capacity, with an emphasis on News; ability to work well as a team player in a pressure filled environment; must be able to work flexible hours/weekends/nights/early mornings/holidays.
