JOB DESCRIPTION
FOX Sports Digital is searching for an experienced Managing Editor to join our team in Los Angeles, CA. As our Managing Editor, you will oversee the editorial strategy and presentation of content that spans the FOX Sports App, FOXSports.com, FOX Sports Newsletters and other potential FOX Sports editorial platforms. This opportunity will allow you to manage colleagues that lead Editorial Content, Editorial Design and Editorial extensions from our Multi-Media Contributors.

A SNAPSHOT OF RESPONSIBILITIES
• Oversee the editorial strategy, content and presentation across FOX Sports editorial platforms
• Analyzing data and research to determine improved strategy and new opportunities
• Staff and talent recruitment and development

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Bachelor's degree in Communications, English, Journalism or another related field preferred but not a deal breaker
• 8+ years' experience in digital media or related field would be great
• Ability to articulate strategy and work collaboratively with several different departments and content producers, both local and remote
• Deep contacts in digital media
• Strong organizational skills to communicate strategy, track progress against that strategy and ensure that the work is moving the team toward the organization's goals
• Capability to effectively communicate to departments and department heads, communicate and collaborate with key partners across product engineering, TV and other groups
• Proven ability to partner with high level, prominent editorial talent and contributors
• Strong managerial, communication and interpersonal skills
• Fluency in analytics, social sharing/sourcing tools and content management systems
• Expert knowledge of online platforms like WordPress and SEO concepts
