JOB DESCRIPTION

FOX Sports is seeking a Manager of Studio Remote Operations to join the team. This position manages preparation, onsite execution, and dismantling of FOX Sports and FS1 studio roadshow events. Additionally, this person manages the same tasks for pregame shows supporting all sports products FOX controls. This includes NFL, MLB, NASCAR, MLS, FIFA, and FOX studio shows.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Attend location surveys and venue meetings related to the event
• Document all information regarding show needs, including set location, technical footprint space, crew parking, catering, and office & green room space
• Set up calls to communicate all show needs to dept leads which include finance, technical (includes IT), operations, production management, crewing, travel, security, and safety depts
• Communicate and provide preliminary show details to the said venue
• Serve as the main point of contact with the venue's principal departments
• Work with team to create maps and renderings of each area, communicating a clear picture of our show plans for FOX supervisors, venue, vendors, and dept leads
• Prepare all event paperwork which includes developing daily schedules, onboarding, master crew grids, and shipping/logistic schedules
• Collaborate with technical managers on all equipment procurement with vendors and arrange all shipping logistics
• Serve as direct contact with all venue or location management
• Secure all required city, state labor, security, safety, and permitting procedures
• Manage all onsite operations of the assigned event - including staff, crew, vendors, and venue operations communications

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• 3+ yrs. in the Broadcast / Production Management Industry
• Ability to travel and work for 7 consecutive days in the workweek
• Must have a valid Driver's License and the ability to secure US Passport
• Working knowledge of Excel, Word, Smartsheet, Google Drive, Sheets etc.
