JOB DESCRIPTION
FOX Sports Digital is looking for a Freelance Editorial Researcher to join their team in Los Angeles, CA. As the Freelance Editorial Researcher, you will provide original quantitative and qualitative sports-related research for the entire FOX Sports digital team, and produce and research live, on-air graphics for original digital sports productions.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Collaborate with FOX Sports digital designers to create data-focused imagery for social and editorial
• Assist in FOX Sports' sports gambling coverage across digital platforms
• Help maintain and contribute to FOX Sports Digital's editorial calendar and content budget, planning for upcoming events, major milestones, and content themes
• Display outstanding news judgment, skilled storytelling ability, thorough knowledge of digital best practices (including SEO, social platforms, and content sharing), and a strong knowledge of journalistic principles and methods
• Provide research for various groups within FOX Sports Digital
• Report analytics on projects
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• A high school diploma and 3 years of experience
• Firm understanding of statistics and data analysis
• Adobe proficiency
• Deep knowledge of AP style writing

• A Bachelor's Degree
