JOB DESCRIPTION
Our Product & Technology, Fox News & Fox Business digital team is looking for a Quality Assurance Analyst to join the team. You will be responsible for full verification of Fox News and Fox Business internal tools, front-facing websites, apps, and OTT platforms. In this role, you'll be owning end-to-end testing of business-critical projects, managing test cases, and working with multiple teams to deliver high quality products.

The Quality Assurance Analyst will have a background in Web UI testing, API testing, ad technologies, content management systems, video stream testing, and analytics verification. Additionally, you will identify bugs, follow up on issues, communicate, track, and report on all aspects of the web stack (both frontend and backend). You will report to the Manager of QA, and will work to ensure that the best quality product is maintained in each of our releases.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manually perform end-to-end tests on the Fox News and Fox Business sites, apps, APIs, and internal CMS tools
• Test web UI in all supported browsers, devices, and operating systems
• Verify ad requests and analytics are being returned properly
• Fully test and sign off on high priority updates, including Accessibility (ADA) requirements and SEO tasks
• Write, execute, and maintain test plans/cases
• Identify and communicate bugs, track their progress, and perform fix verification prior to production releases
• Prioritize issues and provide QA estimates in an Agile environment
• Monitor our production sites and assist with any immediate outage-level issues
• Participate in requirements gathering, maintain technical documentation, and attend technical meetings
• Work closely with Developers, Product Managers, Project Managers, and Design to guarantee we are providing the best product

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Experience in a technical digital role
• Experience with quality assurance testing, tools, and protocols, including Charles, Fiddler, Wireshark, JIRA, TestRail and other data QA validation systems
• Experience in debugging bug causes
• Experience writing and executing quality assurance test cases
• Ads and analytics testing experience
• Demonstrated experience working with JSON, XML, and/or RSS data outputs
• Strong interpersonal skills with a team player spirit
• Strong knowledge in testing Web, Mobile and OTT devices

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEAL BREAKER
• Basic understanding of HTML, CSS, and JavaScript
• Automation experience
