Job Description

FOX Global Security is seeking a Manager, Strategy and Crisis Preparedness in Los Angeles, CA. You will be responsible for driving the implementation of cutting-edge policies and procedures, drafting and advancing strategic security initiatives and crisis management plans, partnering with internal and external stakeholders, and marketing/advertising the FOX Global Security Department. You will be an integral part of the broader FOX Global Security team. You will leverage creative output, meticulous attention to detail, and project management skill to influence some of the Department's most complex and strategically significant initiatives.

• Assist with the design and innovate tailored crisis management plans across the business that are flexible and adaptable. Incorporate a risk-based approach to continuously audit, update, and streamline existing plans
• Partner with the FOX Operational Resilience and Compliance team as part of the Business Continuity / Disaster Recovery (BC / DR) architecture to develop effective working relationships and policy synergies with the FOX GSOC in LA and Alternate GSOC in Tempe, AZ.
• Direct involvement with organizational strategic initiatives to seek greater efficiency and effectiveness through processes, people, and technology
• Examine disparate, abstract ideas, and synthesize them into digestible concepts to develop new policies and procedures for the Department
• Manage projects of high importance and strategic value, provide ongoing status updates, and track work-streams
• Draft and author documents, briefs, and emails that will be read by all levels of the company
• Partner with Security Finance to improve short- and long-term capital expenditures and annual operating costs
• Team up with internal stakeholders to craft and develop operational plans, emergency preparedness drills, tabletop exercises, spreadsheets, briefings, documentation, etc. (GSOC, security operations, security systems, special events, studio tours/parking, production support, etc.)
• Foster relationships outside the Department to market and advertise security services enterprise-wide, which includes enhancing FOX Global Security's website
• Travel as necessary to assist with major event contingency planning preparation and execution (FIFA World Cup, Super Bowl, etc.)
• As required and at the behest of the Manager, Global Intelligence, provide tactical and strategic intelligence products for Departments, offices, and productions
• Participate in special projects, large productions, and marquee events, both domestically and abroad
• Spearhead office improvement and modernization projects
• As requested, conduct GSOC tours, executive briefings, and newcomer's orientation

• At least 3-5 years' experience working in a corporate security environment, with general knowledge of every office (GSOC, intelligence, security operations, security systems, etc.)
• Experience in the media/entertainment industry: live broadcast, television, sports, news, etc.
• Experience with full suite of Microsoft Office products, Adobe Acrobat Pro, Smartsheet, and familiarity with industry platforms and subscription services
• Analytical and creative thinker with the ability to break down complex ideas to create a tailored, efficient strategy
• Strong attention to detail with the ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment with constantly changing priorities
• Effective writing and oral communication skills and the ability to present briefings to a variety of audiences including executives, talent, clients, and employees
• Strong planning, scheduling, and organization skills with the ability to drive projects to completion
• Ability to quickly forge productive relationships and build networks at all levels, internally and externally to FOX
• Ability work with speed and agility to accomplish projects on compressed timelines with little to no supervision
• Ability to identify and solve complex problems and carry out responsibilities with little or no supervision, at times under adverse and stressful conditions
• Ability to work independently in a dispersed virtual team structure
• Quick to learn and administer security software systems; familiarity with incident management tools, crisis management programs, and mass communications systems
• Willing to work a flexible schedule and travel, sometimes on short notice

• Bachelor's degree desirable in a field related to business administration, economics, or international relations and/or 5+ years of corporate security experience working in a major media company or an equivalent combination of education and experience sufficient to perform the essential functions of the job, as determined by the company
• Prior experiences as a Chief of Staff, Strategist, or Executive Assistant
