JOB DESCRIPTION

Fox News Digital is looking for an energetic Editor to help build and manage a growing team that writes, produces, and optimizes news content for FoxNews.com and FoxBusiness.com. You are a meticulous Editor who can assign, edit and produce a broad range of content, from local news to world affairs.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Assigning and editing dozens of articles a day in a fast-paced, deadline-driven environment
• Instituting and overseeing SEO best practices
• Monitoring analytics to inform decisions
• Innovating in the news and SEO spaces

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Minimum 4 years of experience working at a digital news operation with a focus on organic traffic growth
• Demonstrated experience and success managing a team
• Experience with high-volume, high-pressure, fast-paced editorial enterprises
• Strong communications skills and an ability to work well on a news or assignment desk
• Thorough understanding of SEO techniques and tools
• Passion for SEO-driven results
• Passion for the Fox News brand
• Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field of study is preferred, or equivalent experience
• Photoshop, Illustrator experience

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is: $73,000.00-92,000.00 annually for New York City and Westchester County, NY. $60,800.00-76,600.00 annually for Colorado. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
