JOB DESCRIPTION

We are looking for an Editor, SEO for FOXNews.com and FOXBusiness.com to help drive our most important KPIs to new heights.

You may be offered one of the following shifts or ranges in the schedules as follows: Mon-Fri, Tues-Sat or Sun-Thurs 6a-2p or 2-10p ET

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Develop and execute Fox News' SEO strategies to boost unique users, visits, page views, and time on site
• Work closely with teams to bake in SEO best practices at all levels to support organic traffic growth
• Monitor a running list of legacy content to update and re-optimize for Search, and work with editors on evergreen content across Fox News verticals
• Monitor keyword rankings
• Utilize tools like NewzDash to monitor and improve SERP positions
• Monitor editorial pitch queue to provide real-time SEO input to editors/reporters
• Make editorial recommendations based on performance trackers to increase traffic

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Minimum 1-2 years of SEO experience, preferably in news
• Understanding of SEO techniques, tools, and digital channels
• Knowledge of web analytics platforms
• Passion for SEO driven results
• Passion for the Fox News brand

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEAL BREAKER
• BA/BS degree or equivalent practical experience
