Job Description

Fox News Media has an exciting opportunity for a Director, Ad Sales Brand Marketing! In this role, you will partner with key stakeholders to develop and execute go-to-market strategies and materials that increase visibility with agencies, clients, and partners and drive demand in the marketplace for FOX News Media's properties and products. You will report to the VP of Ad Sales Brand Marketing and will manage a small team.

• Sales Collateral and Materials:
• Utilize storytelling skills to develop breakthrough marketing materials including but not limited to sales presentations, trade website/online media kit, sizzle videos, one-sheets, client mailers, campaigns and email blasts, etc.
• Collaborate with Integrated and Portfolio Marketing, Research, and Sales teams to enhance proposals with audience insights and positioning
• Attend pitch meetings to present ideas when necessary
• Collaborate across various internal teams (Sales, Consumer Marketing, Branded Content, Editorial, Research, and Design) and partner with external vendors to develop and bring Brand and Portfolio messaging to market
• Attend location shoots as needed/warranted by marketing partnership deliverables
• Client Experience & Trade Marketing:
• Oversee development, programming, management and execution of internal and industry events, speaking engagements, and bespoke client experiences (virtual and in-person) that deliver on strategic priorities and brand propositions in an endemic manner
• Maintain trade marketing website and sales materials including project management, asset management (copy, key art, videos) and keeping content current
• Support activation of Trade Media Campaigns
• Work with internal stakeholders to deliver priority messaging to the marketplace as well as internally
• Strategically align opportunities where talent can represent Fox News Media in the marketplace when possible
• Internal Communication/Facilitation:
• Maintain and execute marketing communications plan and calendar of events
• Support daily communication with internal and external parties, including Sales, Ad Sales Marketing, Branded Content, Research, Production, Consumer Marketing, Programming, Finance, Legal, Vendors, Clients and their respective Agencies
• Work with stakeholders and peers in structuring, managing, and maintaining an organized library of cloud-based sales materials
• Management:
• Act as point of contact for marketing requests
• Prioritize and oversee brand marketing projects
• Manage communication plan timelines, workflow, and report team progress to Vice President
• Effectively lead, manage, and mentor the Marketing Manager and Coordinator
• Work closely with Vice President and HR to develop and coordinate internal training plan for direct reports

• Minimum 8-10 years of experience at an agency, media company, sales organization, where you were responsible for presentation, creative and promotion development
• Experience in television, digital, new media, events and project management and an interest in politics, business, and News marketing
• Excellent oral, written, proofreading and presentation skills
• Excellent comprehension and ability to communicate clearly, concisely and effectively
• Knowledge of relevant syndicated and custom research tools and their application to the sales process
• Ability to effectively synthesize data, glean insights and organize information to create a strong sales story/distinct positioning
• Strong understanding of media ad sales process, marketing strategy, media buying and planning functions
• Familiarity with News & Business Editorial, Talent and Media Relations processes
• Thorough knowledge and proven experience working with Microsoft Office (Word, Excel and PowerPoint, etc.)
• Willing to work in New York City, NY
• Willingness to travel and work overtime, and on weekends with short notice

• A Bachelor's degree, or equivalent work experience

• You are a team player with strong organizational, time-management and problem-solving skills with clear attention to detail and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously
• You have a professional demeanor to interface with multiple high level, key constituencies
• You have strong interpersonal skills with the ability to lead and motivate team of direct reports, interdepartmental teams and influence internal and external clients and vendors
