JOB DESCRIPTION
''Making Money with Charles Payne'' is looking for a talented and highly motivated Booker / Researcher. As the Booker / Researcher, you recognize the importance of the ''first phone call'' and have an extensive Rolodex of financial and business guests. You will help producers research the show and daily guests, assist in booking guests, and related satellites and transportation. You will also have the opportunity to produce segments and teases.
You will be assigned the following shift: Monday – Friday, 8am - 4pm EDT
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Strategize with the team to determine best booking approach based on breaking news of the day
• Pitch story ideas for both day-of and future story ideas
• Assist in bulking up future bookings
• Help team members gather elements
• Assist in booking satellite studios and transportation
• Learn how to contribute in the control room, from checking in guests to monitoring feeds and from writing breaking banners to turning around video/sound
• Learn how to produce high-quality segments, including writing anchor intros and teases
• Comfortable working with and communicating with top-tier talent and guests
WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Thorough knowledge of the stock market, investing trends, and business news
• Strong editorial judgment
• Ability to create compelling graphics for air
• Fast and accurate writing
• A bachelor's degree and or 2+ years relevant work

Pursuant to state and local pay disclosure requirements, the pay rate/range for this role, with final offer amount dependent on education, skills, experience, and location is $54,000.00-63,000.00 annually. This role is also eligible for various benefits, including medical/dental/vision, insurance, a 401(k) plan, paid time off, and other benefits in accordance with applicable plan documents. Benefits for Union represented employees will be in accordance with the applicable collective bargaining agreement.
