JOB DESCRIPTION

Fox News is looking for a motivated and creative Associate Producer for our weekly Sunday night program, The Next Revolution with Steve Hilton. This hour-long, primetime show recaps the week's top stories, from US News and politics to international affairs, and previews what's taking place in the coming days. As the Associate Producer, you will conduct research, produce segments, write scripts, and more.

This position requires a Wednesday to Sunday shift.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Pitch stories and potential guests
• Research a wide range of topics
• Work with host on weekly monologue
• Find and cut video and sound
• Write scripts, teases, and lower thirds
• Post on the official show social media accounts
• Order/produce graphics

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Bachelor's degree in journalism or related field of study is preferred, or equivalent experience
• At least 3 years of experience in television production
• Excellent resourcefulness and a passion for politics and current events
• Exceptional scriptwriting skills, news judgment, and grammar
• Ability to work well under pressure
• Superior comprehension of Twitter, Facebook, Instagram, and other social media applications
• Working knowledge of iNews, VIZ, and desktop editing
• Flexibility to work day/night/weekend shifts as news requires it
