The team behind the #1 National Cable News Program in America, Tucker Carlson Tonight, is looking for an Associate Producer to join us as a key part of an exciting new venture within ''Team Tucker'' at Fox News. The ideal candidate is talented, organized, and hard-working. We are looking for a proven go-getter and someone who can rise to the occasion under the stressful demands of daily news. As an Associate Producer, you have excellent editorial judgment, can write and produce compelling segments and shows, and have excellent control room breaking news experience.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Participate in the development and execution of a new 3X weekly show distributed across digital platforms
• Assist the Senior Team, Line Producer, and other producers in executing daily show
• Find, gather and execute utilizing sound, video and other elements in the rundown
• Writing television scripts as needed
• Swiftly react to breaking news and ensure accurate content is getting on the air as news happens
• Constantly fact-checking scripts and on-air content to ensure everything is accurate
• Pitch stories and ideas
• Execute all production tasks assigned across various Tucker Carlson products at Fox News

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• 3+ years of TV or journalism experience
• Knowledge and passion for current events and politics is essential
• Exceptional editorial skills; ability to recognize stories with high potential for compelling television
• Excellent organizational skills as well as the ability to foster an environment that fosters teamwork
• Detail-oriented and able to work under pressure and meet multiple daily deadlines

NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEAL BREAKER
• Bachelor's degree in Journalism, related field or equivalent work experience
• Superb writing skills are a major plus
