JOB DESCRIPTION
FOX is currently seeking a Manager of Environmental, Health, and Safety (EHS) to join our Studio Lot operations team in Los Angeles. As Manager, you will plan, develop and manage the implementation of comprehensive EHS Management Systems, including COVID-19 Return to Work protocols, as well as provide consultation on regulatory issues and liaise with public agencies regarding FOX's Studio Lot facility. You will also oversee the EHS Management Systems evaluation/review process and consistently strive for improvement opportunities across the organization ensuring the timely delivery of EHS Action Plans. We are looking for an experienced candidate who will implement effective EHS Management Systems that will detail overall responsibility and accountability for protecting workers and the environment.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Manage, revise, and develop written EHS programs
• Conduct and coordinate EHS risk assessments
• Implement controls and action plans for risk reduction and development of specific EHS guidelines for unique locations or situations
• Review all production, event and facility schedules to determine dates of upcoming activities
• Review hazard assessments/risk assessments for specialized activities and locations
• Communicate with upper levels of management to discuss EHS-related issues
• Analyze and respond to safety concerns, ensuring quick and appropriate resolution
• Coordinate periodic workplace inspections to ensure regulatory compliance and conformance to FOX requirements
• Respond to, investigate, and document incidents and injuries as necessary
• Review injury investigation reports and other related documents to determine the need for corrective action, further investigation, follow-up and/or reporting to regulatory agencies
• Verify personnel have received appropriate EHS training
• Program management support includes, but is not limited to, Facility Safety, Production Safety, COVID-19 protocols, ENG/SNG Safety, and Contractor Management

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• Bachelor's degree in a relevant academic area (Safety, IH, Environmental) or commensurate work experience in the field of Production, Studio and/or Broadcasting Safety
• Possess or actively working towards Certified Safety Professional (CSP) and or Certified Industrial Hygiene (CIH) Certification
• Minimum of 3 - 5 years in a dedicated EHS Management position
• Knowledge and understanding of ISO 45001 / 14001 and OSHA Standards highly desirable
• Project management experience working with cross-functional teams
• Must have excellent problem-solving skills
• Strong working knowledge of Outlook, Microsoft Word and Excel
• Ability to prioritize and work within time and budgetary constraints
• Ability to exercise professional judgment, sometimes in difficult or stressful conditions, in assessing hazards and demanding corrections
• Must have exceptional written and verbal communication skills
• Proven continuous improvement mentality and principle understanding
• Flexibility to adapt to the changing needs and schedules of FOX's Studio Lot
• Ability to interact productively with a broad range of people and personalities
• Ability to use diplomacy and tact to resolve difficult issues
• Understanding of sensitivity of certain information and ability to demonstrate appropriate discretion in sharing it
