JOB DESCRIPTION

MarVista Entertainment, a Fox Entertainment Company, is one of the leading producers and distributors of programming in the worldwide television marketplace. Headquartered in Los Angeles, California, the company has rapidly grown into a global producer and distributor of a broad range of programming genres. We are currently looking to hire a Coordinator, Production & Development to support our Core Team and Indie slate pipeline.

A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Facilitate functionality of department by accurately maintaining company databases, tracking documents, submissions logs, and tracking individual project development to support a growing pipeline of movies for our indie and robust streaming slate
• Demonstrate the ability to have an active, integrated, detailed understanding and knowledge of department pipeline and submission status
• Prepar timely reports and presentations to sustain interdepartmental visibility into status of projects
• Assist in preparing pitch presentations for third party buyers monthly/quarterly and ad hoc
• Review and analyze pitches and scripts to support creative staff, including preparing script coverage
• Provide administrative support for the department to include, but not limited to, overseeing calendars for two VP's, scheduling departmental meetings, detailed note documentation during internal/external department meetings, posting VP expenses, facilitating on-site meetings, meeting room reservations, booking travel, and guest/VIP visits to the lot
• Build and maintain relationships with writers, assistants, and outside agencies

WHAT YOU WILL NEED
• 4-year degree or equivalent experience
• 1-2 years of experience as an administrative assistant at agency, production company, network or studio
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office: Outlook, Scheduling Assistant in Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint and Zoom
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills
• Takes initiative and demonstrates confidence in self-directed work
• Ability to multi-task and remain calm under pressure
• Ability to develop and maintain strong relationships
• Strong creative problem-solving skills
• Strong Professionalism, discretion, and good judgment in all interactions with colleagues, internal & external clients and industry professionals

NICE TO HAVE BUT NOT A DEALBREAKER
• Knowledge of Indie film landscape, TV MOW, and series
