JOB DESCRIPTION
FOX Entertainment is looking for a new Publicity Assistant to support the day-to-day functions of multiple publicists. You will be responsible for accomplishing departmental duties such as assisting in pitches and securing press interest for various networks and streamers. Some of your daily responsibilities will involve participation on series (scripted, unscripted, animation), live/special events through pitching, facilitating interviews, and coordinating logistics for events and junkets. As the Publicity Assistant, you will liaise with other internal departments (digital/social, On-Air Promo, Affiliate Marketing, National Promotions, Current Programming and Development, Media, Design, etc.) across projects. Some of your other responsibilities will include phone management, emails, status reports, launch memos, travel arrangements, and scheduling for series talent.
A SNAPSHOT OF YOUR RESPONSIBILITIES
• Maintain electronic and print publicity breaks
• Maintain and organize key contacts, including talent representatives and glam
• Maintain payroll/BTL invoices, code invoices prior to submission and track invoices
• Direct online and affiliate contacts to 'embeddable' interviews and show content for use on their sites
• Cover for direct reports when they are out of the office
• Provide general administrative support
• Provide immediate press requests with information
• Assist the team with special projects, including outreach and communication
• Assist in developing, organizing, and executing LA-based events, promotions, affiliate junkets, and other media events
• Create and distribute E-Alerts to online and affiliate contacts that feature press releases, episodic highlights, stunts, specials

• Ability to take incitive while contributing to the team's success
• Ability to work well with different levels of management, as well as with talent, managers, producers, publicists, agents, and studio executives
NICE TO HAVE, BUT NOT A DEAL BREAKER
• Bachelors' degree, preferably in Communications or English
• Agency, network, and/or studio publicity and/or marketing experience is preferred
