Planning Producer (NE)
Position-Planning Producer/Fox 8 News in the Morning
• The Planning Producer position is assigned to our top rated ''Fox 8 News in the Morning'' newscast.
• The Planning Producer is responsible for all non-news segments within the six hour morning news. These can include, live guests, live musical performances, cooking segments, booking breaking newsmaker interviews.
• In addition, the Planning Producer provides assistance and coordination for our ''Kickin' it with Kenny'' segments.
• The Planning Producer also coordinates and produces some of the stations community and charity endeavors including our annual St Jude Dream Home fundraiser.
Additional duties may include;
• filling in as a line producer
• writing for newscasts,
• running teleprompter
• contributing to digital and social media platforms as well as other duties as assigned.
