FOX 59 and CBS 4, Nexstar's leading broadcasting stations in Indianapolis, are seeking a talented and innovative Creative Shooter/Editor to join our dynamic Marketing Department. As a Creative Shooter/Editor, you will play a pivotal role in capturing and editing compelling visual content for promotional purposes, supporting the stations' branding and marketing initiatives. Responsibilities:
- Collaborate with the Marketing team to understand project objectives and deliver creative visual content that aligns with station branding guidelines.
- Capture high-quality footage and still images using professional-grade camera equipment, ensuring exceptional composition and lighting.
- Edit and assemble raw footage into polished and visually impactful videos using industry-standard editing software.
- Incorporate graphics, animations, and other visual elements to enhance the overall quality and storytelling of the content.
- Manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and emerging technologies in video production, cinematography, and editing techniques.
- Maintain and organize video and photo archives for easy access and retrieval.

Requirements:
- Proven experience in video shooting and editing, preferably within the broadcast or media industry.
- Proficiency in using professional-grade video and photo equipment, including cameras, lenses, lighting, and audio recording tools.
- Expertise in non-linear editing software such as Adobe Premiere Pro, or similar.
- Knowledge of graphic design software, such as Adobe Photoshop or After Effects, is a plus.
- Strong storytelling and creative storytelling abilities with an understanding of pacing, composition, and visual aesthetics.
- Excellent attention to detail and ability to maintain high production standards.
- Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a team environment.
- Strong communication skills and ability to effectively present and explain creative concepts to stakeholders
