Job Description

FOX4, the Nexstar station in Kansas City, MO is looking for an experienced Sales Manager to join our winning team. Kansas City is a vibrant, growing market and home to the back-to-back champion Kansas City Chiefs.

The ideal candidate is responsible for working with our National Sales Organization as well as leading and growing our local account executives in new business and achievement of revenue goals. The successful candidate will be someone who takes advantage of every opportunity to maximize revenue on all screens, television, digital, and OTT platforms.
• Pricing and oversight of all national accounts
• Building relationships with the national buying team, including direct relationships with agency buyers, and clients
• Management of all political advertising
• Ability to accurately forecast and budget.
• Delivery of all broadcast and digital budgets
• Develop highly creative and innovative marketing campaigns and solutions for clients.
• Coach, train, and develop staff.
• Prepare, submit, and negotiate sales presentations.
• Assist in the recommendation of pricing based on inventory and sell out.

Requirements & Skills:
• Strong leadership & team-building skills with the ability to foster a positive, winning culture.
• Strong analytical, problem solving, communications, writing, negotiation, & presentation skills
• Must be well organized, display a professional demeanor, exude high energy, and show attention to detail.
• Familiarity with Nielsen, Wide Orbit and Matrix preferred.
• A Bachelor's degree with a minimum of three (3) years of sales management experience including local and digital sales preferred.
• Knowledge of TV and digital media advertising
• Understanding of ratings delivery services
• Strong MS Office skills including Word, Advanced Excel, and PowerPoint are required.
• Ability to oversee a high stress environment with deadline pressures.
• Travel and long work hours may be required.
• A valid driver's license, and acceptable driving record are also required.
