Job Description

KOKH FOX 25 & KOCB CW 34 is looking for a Director for our Newscast.

Responsibilities:
• Learn Overdrive, and how to proficiently code shows for flawless on-air execution.
• Editing video for daily news coverage, special projects, and sweep period pieces.
• Editing video for our newscasts on our non-linear Avid editing system.
• Collaborate with anchors, reporters, producers on video elements of newscasts.
• Meeting daily deadlines in a high-energy working environment.
• Perform other tasks related to the position as assigned, which may include website contribution

Requirements:
• College degree or minimum 1 year relative experience in the field
• Knowledge of Final Cut Pro, Avid Media Composer & Ross Overdrive is a plus.
• Typing and good spelling skills necessary
• Must be able to lift & position 40 pound lighting instruments
