Receptionist / Office Assistant

Job Description

FOX 21 (KXRM) and KXTU (CW) in Colorado Springs, CO has an opening for a Receptionist / Office Assistant that is a team player, highly coachable, motivated and friendly. In this role you will be the first line of communication for visitors to our stations and those calling in.​ The ideal candidate will thrive in a fast-paced, professional environment where responsiveness, strong follow through, excellent attention to detail and dedication are the norm.​ A customer-focused, servant approach with a strong desire to help others is critical for success.

Duties & Responsibilities
• Manage our front desk and lobby, welcome visitors, answer phone calls and respond to emails in a friendly and professional manner.
• Take pride and ownership in the common areas at the station keeping them neat and organized
• Supervise incoming and outgoing mail and deliveries. (UPS, FedEx, Amazon, etc.)
• Responsible for ordering and maintaining all office & janitorial supplies
• Provides clerical support for Sales, News, Creative Services and Administrative departments
• Performs other duties as assigned
• Working hours are Mon-Friday, 8:00 to 5:00 pm

Requirements & Skills:

• High School diploma
• Fluency in English
• Excellent communication skills, both oral and written
• Highly motivated team player that works well with people
• Minimum one year's experience in clerical support or administrative assistance a plus but not required
• Reliability is a key element of this role, as well as attention to detail
• Proficiency with telephone etiquette, copiers, scanners, Microsoft Suite (specifically Word, Excel & PowerPoint), and other office equipment
• Compensation range from $16.00/ hr + commensurate with experience and skill level.
