Working Hours: Full-time, permanent. During festival season you will be working on-site, including weekends.

Role Description

This role covers all aspects of Disabled Access at Live Nation/Festival Republic Festivals in the UK.

The overriding goal of this role is to ensure that all our events are accessible to all customers.

At Festival Republic we have a Disabled Access Team and the Disabled Access Coordinator is part of that team.

Who you are

You may have experience in the following roles: w orking in disabled access, festival production or a customer service role.

Competencies / Skills / Knowledge / Experience
• Demonstrated experience or interest in the wider subject of disabled access and the issues affecting disabled customers
• Some knowledge of current disabled access legislation and/or disability awareness training
• The role involves extensive customer interaction, primarily by email, so good communication skills, grammar and spelling is essential.
• The role involves a considerable amount of administrative work, so attention to detail and a good working knowledge of Excel and other software would be required
• Multi-tasking experience with examples of working on multiple projects consecutively

What the role includes
• Planning, writing, and reviewing all aspects of disabled access information for all festival websites, customer information sheets and newsletters
• Administration of the disabled access application system for all disabled customer enquiries and applications, ensuring timely and appropriate responses and managing all feedback
• Processing all disabled access requests and PA/carer/companion ticket applications from our application scheme
• Manage the Disabled Customer Database where applicable to include sending festival updates, newsletters, and application closing date reminders.
• Liaising with event production teams to ensure that all disabled access facilities are booked in advance, and are installed correctly on site and to the agreed location and specification
• Maintaining an up-to-date list of the numbers of access customers attending each festival and sharing that list weekly with the Event Manager for each festival
• Recruiting and managing on-site Disabled Access Team for each festival to run the Customer Check In, manage the Information Tent and all campsite and arena accessible facilities
• Liaising with our sponsorship team pre-event to ensure that all sponsor installations are accessible to all customers
• Deliver on-site briefings to the access team, stewards and security
• Liaising with our access partners such as Attitude Is Everything and Performance Interpreting and planning on-site activities
• Debrief and review every festival with the access team and the production team.
• Produce a debrief and improvement plan for each festival
• Looking at ways to constantly improve and expand the services and facilities offered to our disabled access customers
