Reports to: Accreditation Coordinator
Working Hours: Full time. Additional hours and weekend work will be required throughout the festival season.
Contract type: Fixed-Term Contract: 7th May 2024 - 13th September 2024
Role Description
The role is predominately people-facing and administrative, providing support to the Accreditation Coordinator, and is therefore a key part of the planning team for the events.
The successful applicant will work within a team, to help implement and manage the accreditation systems used across festivals. Full training on the specifics of the role will be given to the correct candidate; however, an understanding of event accreditation systems along with a proven ability to complete basic administrative tasks accurately and in a timely manner are both essential.
What the role includes
• Assisting in setting up and using an online accreditation system, both in advance of the shows as well as on-site, ensuring all passes are correctly issued and logged.
• Ensure a thorough understanding of all pass types and restrictions that apply.
• Collating, chasing and reviewing all crew pass requests & responding to changes in a professional & timely manner.
• Overseeing the creation, counting, allocation and packing all accreditation including wristbands and laminates, & ensuring passes database is continually monitored and updated. This database must be reconciled & finalised before you leave site.
• Managing the Passes Office at various events under the guidance of the Accreditation Coordinator, ensuring a smooth and professional operation.
• Reporting to the Accreditation Coordinator, Production Office and/or the Event manager & keeping them updated & helping to implement on-site processes for the festival accreditation team.
• Delegating accreditation duties to show day staff and supporting them in the fulfilment of their role.
• Trouble-shooting issues as and when they occur.
• Working closely with the Event Manager for approval on accreditation requests.
• Managing the passes inbox and responding to all emails received.
• Carrying out post-show reports and audits of stock.
