Lead Lighting Artist

Job Description

The Lead Lighter collaborates with the show-side supervision team to help maintain and schedule tasks and assignments while ensuring the artists stay on track and delivers high-end photo-realistic CG characters and environments.

Key Responsibilities
• Creates and designs lighting for complex scenes; develops look for assets, animation files, simulations, and effects elements
• Works with supervisors and compositors to ensure that all elements delivered work as needed to achieve the desired look
• Leads and mentors a team of artists; offer constructive and support feedback
Qualifications
• Bachelor's degree in a field of Digital Arts or equivalent experience
• Minimum five (5) years of experience in visual effects for feature films
• Previous leadership experience
• Proficiency with 3ds Max and VRay preferred, experience with Maya, VRay, Arnold or other software considered
• Clear understanding of color space, image-based lighting, shading, and advanced rendering methodologies
• Able to multitask and complete tasks within production schedules and tight deadlines in an organized manner
• A team player who thrives in a collaborative environment and responds well to direction and guidance from supervisors

담당업무
• 복잡한 씬의 라이팅을 설계하고 제작하며, 에셋, 애니메이션 파일, 시뮬레이션, 이펙트 요소의 룩을 개발합니다.
• 슈퍼바이저 및 합성 아티스트와 협력하여, 전달되는 모든 요소가 원하는 결과를 얻을 수 있도록 합니다.
• 아티스트 팀을 이끌고 멘토링하며, 건설적이고 지원적인 피드백을 제공합니다.
자격요건
• 디지털 아트 관련 학사 학위 또는 이에 상응하는 경력
• 장편 영화 시각 효과 분야에서 최소 5년 이상의 경력
• 리더십 경험 보유
• 3ds Max와 VRay 숙련자 우대, Maya, VRay, Arnold 또는 기타 소프트웨어 경험도 고려
• 컬러 스페이스, 이미지 기반 라이팅, 셰이딩, 고급 렌더링 방식에 대한 명확한 이해
• 여러 작업을 동시에 수행할 수 있으며, 제작 일정과 촉박한 마감 기한 내에 체계적으로 업무를 완수할 수 있는 능력
• 협업 환경에서 능동적으로 일하고, 슈퍼바이저의 지시와 조언을 잘 따르는 팀 플레이어
