Job Description
The Senior Manager of Facilities Safety and Operations is responsible for supporting the development and administration of all safety programs, initiatives, and new processes.
Responsibilities:
• Develop and maintain training curriculum for ESPN Global Security and Facilities employees, emergency responders, and at risk groups.
• Analyzes procedures and training which will minimize/control safety and security risk.
• Work with leaders and departments on assessing training needs
• Develop training based on analysis of guidelines and creates specific curriculum for ESPN operations and conditions.
• Maintain strong communication between Disney Crisis Management and DLearn teams.
• Manage ESPN Environmental Health and Safety Training Library
• Manage and maintain workflows on TWDC Learning Management System through D-Learn.
• Design implement and manager workflows for new processes and procedures.
• Manage and maintain the process of ESPN's use of Everbridge, including oversight of group requests; create a training program to educate service center staff members on Everbridge and assist with day-to-day updates.
• Manage and maintain process for LiveSafe, implement new functions, cross training and day to day operations.
• Manage and maintain process for Contractor Management System, including educating staff members on workflow and contractor requirements.
• Manage the background check audit process for all locations.
• Support the ESPN EHS Event Operations Team
• Coordinate and maintain post show report schedules, review show report survey's for potential safety concerns, and archive documentation as needed.
• Maintain the remote safety calendar that supports all ESPN remote events globally.
• Track and manage ESPN EHS Event Team budgetary expenditure
• Manage ESPN's Accident Reporting Process and accident investigation
• Manage OSHA Log, including annual reporting.
• Manage (including training) the crisis management program including maintenance of AEDs, 1st Aid supplies, weather radios, and emergency stair descender equipment for ESPN facilities and remote events
• Maintains a working knowledge of FM requirements, International Building Code, ADA accessibility guidelines, environmental regulations, EPA regulations, and OSHA regulations.
• Participates in the ongoing evaluation of workplace conditions, materials, equipment, and processes used in order to identify and control workplace hazards and other safety and health risks.
Basic Qualifications:
• A minimum of 7 years' experience.
• Strong safety background, including crisis management, occupational safety plan review, fire protection and life safety, OSHA regulations, environmental laws and regulations
• Background experience with industrial hygiene
Preferred Qualifications:
• BCSP Certification
