Job Description
Andscape, a content studio that explores the depth of Black identity through its power in sports and culture, is seeking a Senior Manager Content Ops to manage and optimize content management, production workflows, and operational efficiency. This role is instrumental in ensuring seamless execution of Andscape's growing slate of projects. Reporting to the Director of Business Operations, this individual will drive process improvements, financial tracking, and strategic coordination across content initiatives.

Responsibilities:
• Coordinate with internal and external teams to refine best practices for content management and operational efficiency.
• Maintain accurate records of financial transactions, budgets, and production costs.
• Oversee invoice tracking to ensure timely processing and budget accuracy.
• Lead accountability meetings and provide mentorship and guidance to team members on operational strategies.
• Collaborate with leadership to develop long-term content strategies that align with business goals.
• Document best practices for content production and evolve operations guidelines as needed.
• Ensure compliance with company policies and procedures across all production and content workflows.
• Stay up to date with evolving technology to optimize content management and production processes.
• Manage multiple projects and deadlines with efficiency, maintaining high standards of execution.
• Manage special projects and ad hoc initiatives as required.
Basic Qualifications:
• 8+ years of experience in content operations, production management, or digital media strategy.
• Strong understanding of financial tracking, budgeting, and operational planning.
• Experience in developing and streamlining content workflows to enhance efficiency.
• Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously in a fast-paced environment.
• Strong leadership, problem-solving, and communication skills.
• Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Media Production, or a related field.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Experience working within media production environments, balancing creative and operational needs.
• Strong knowledge of rights management, licensing, and distribution processes.
• Proficiency in workflow automation tools to enhance efficiency in content production.
• Experience with multi-platform content distribution to optimize engagement and visibility.
• Ability to implement best practices for content security and compliance in line with corporate standards.

Required Education:
• High School Diploma

Preferred Education:
• College Degree in related field
• This role is based in New York but may be open to other locations, including Connecticut.

The hiring range for this position in Los Angeles, California, is $116,240.00 to $159,830.00 per year and in New York, NY is $116,240.00 to $159,830.00 per year. The base pay actually offered will take into account internal equity and also may vary depending on the candidate's geographic region, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience among other factors. A bonus and/or long-term incentive units may be provided as part of the compensation package, in addition to the full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits, dependent on the level and position offered.
