Job Description
The Talent Statistician/Spotter will have a key role in helping shape the broadcast of a sports event by effectively communicating important statistics and game trends to announcers and graphics producers.

Responsibilities
• Research and analyze team storylines, player stats, and relevant trends prior to each broadcast.
• Confirm starting lineups, officials, and other pregame details for the production crew.
• Provide quick, accurate answers to in-game questions (e.g., foul assignments, shot types).
• Identify and communicate game trends and key statistics that enhance storytelling.
• Collaborate with announcers by delivering timely insights without disrupting their flow.
• Relay concise statistical information to graphics producers via headset.
• Liaise with team SIDs/PR representatives when available to gather additional data or clarify information.
Basic Qualifications:
• Valid driver's license.
• Strong knowledge of sports history, rules, statistics, and terminology.
• Excellent communication skills-both in person and over headset.
• Professional presence in public and on-site (courtside, broadcast booth, etc.).
• Prior experience working with statistics in a sports broadcast environment (e.g., Talent Statistician, Official Statistician, Graphics Producer)
• Strong math and analytical skills
• A minimum of 2 years of sports production experience.

Required Education:
• High School Diploma or Equivalent

Preferred Education:
• Bachelor's Degree

The pay rate for this remote role is $22.00 to $88.50 per hour.
