Job Description
The Manager is part of the College Sports brand team, which supports College Basketball, NCAA Championships, Olympic Sports and College Networks (ACC Network, SEC Network, Longhorn Network), based in Charlotte, NC.
This position will focus on the development and execution of ACC Network marketing strategies and multi-platform promotional plans in addition to providing overall support for the College Sports team.
The position reports to the Director, Sports Marketing – ACC Network.

Responsibilities:
• Contribute to the development of ACC Network's marketing strategies and promotional plans in addition to leading all campaign execution
• Lead development of marketing briefs to internal and external partners in support of priority programming
• Manage day-to-day relationships with external and internal creative partners to ensure deliverables track to timelines, budget and best in class creative execution
• Oversight of all creative project planning, timelines, deliverables and execution, including pre-production and production logistics supporting live action and photography shoots
• Assist with the day-to-day management of ACC Network marketing strategies and plans including:
• Manage creative development, from inception to approvals and execution
• Plan scheduling and delivery of marketing assets with Media partners
• Member-institution communication, campaign extensions and implementation
• Affiliate campaign development and asset delivery
• Utilize fan insights and research to inform marketing strategies
• Facilitate content and video footage gathering; Footage and music clearances
• Work with production feature producers and event coordinating producers as needed
• Provide detailed performance analysis of all marketing plans and initiatives
• Establish strong and collaborative relationships with key internal and external partners including the ACC and its 15 Member-Institutions
• Lead weekly planning meetings with cross functional teams (Media, Programming, Production, Affiliate) to ensure alignment on plans and initiatives
• Oversight of Marketing budget
• Create, collaborate and contribute to ACC Network social media efforts
• Manage and support marketing activations and fan experiences
• Manage and mentor Marketing Coordinator
• Be the resident ACC sports expert
Basic Qualifications:
• Minimum of 4 years of related marketing/advertising required with an understanding of marketing fundamentals, including strategic and creative development, creative evaluation, and budget management. 3+ years of people management.
Preferred Qualifications:
• Passionate College Sports fan with extensive knowledge of the ACC, its Member-Institutions and its sports including coaches and players required.
• Excellent creative instincts. Experience working with internal and external creative partners.
• Strategic thinker. Strong base of marketing analytics, financial acumen and understanding of Consumer & Market insights.
• A healthy appreciation of the role sports plays in popular culture, especially music.
• Effective time management and organizational skills. Ability to prioritize and multi-task on a high profile, high volume portfolio.
• Ability to work in a fast-paced environment. Problem-solver. Holds self and others accountable for creative and executional excellence.
• Strong work ethic. Must be self-motivated, detail oriented and take initiative to get the job done.
• Excellent written and verbal communication skills (copywriting experience a plus).
• Embraces and passionate about social media. Knowledge and understanding of all social media platforms.
• Knowledge of and interest in the evolving media landscape and media consumption habits.
• Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Outlook, Word, Excel, Powerpoint). Adobe Suite experience desired.
