Job Description
ANALYTICS
What We Do
Our Data & Analytics teams build powerful stories and visuals that inform the games we make, the technology we develop, and business decisions that drive Epic.
What You'll Do
We are looking for a Senior Manager, Social Media Analytics to lead performance measurement, insights development, and strategic experimentation across Epic's social media channels. This role sits at the intersection of creative, strategy, and analytics, translating data into clear narratives and recommendations to empower stakeholders across marketing, content, and product. You will be responsible for building scalable reporting frameworks, designing testing roadmaps, and integrating listening, engagement, and performance data into everyday decision-making. You'll also help ensure Epic's social storytelling remains insight-informed, culturally resonant, and continuously evolving. This role is ideal for someone with deep analytical acumen, strong communication skills, and a passion for creativity and community.
In this role, you will
• Build and lead a centralized social media analytics function, delivering timely, actionable insights for brand, campaign, and community teams across Epic
• Develop frameworks to track performance across platforms (TikTok, Instagram, YouTube, X, Reddit, etc.), formats, campaigns, and franchises
• Partner with creative, strategy, influencer, and comms teams to define KPIs, assess campaign effectiveness, and inform content direction
• Lead the implementation of a unified reporting stack-balancing native platform metrics, third-party tools (e.g., Sprout, Emplifi), and custom dashboards
• Collaborate with social media managers to design and evaluate content tests, channel optimizations, and algorithm-driven experiments
• Conduct deep-dive analyses into audience behavior, engagement drivers, and content consumption trends-turning data into storytelling opportunities and building automated workflows and executive-level reports that enable faster, more confident decisions across the social ecosystem
• Own competitive and industry benchmarking to inform strategic shifts and platform innovation and guide the development of social listening capabilities to surface real-time community sentiment, creator trends, and cultural moments
What we're looking for
• 6–8 years of experience in social media analytics, marketing insights, or digital strategy, preferably in gaming, entertainment, or consumer tech
• Expertise in platform-native analytics (e.g., YouTube Studio, TikTok Analytics), third-party measurement tools, and data visualization (e.g., Tableau, Looker, Power BI)
• Proven track record of designing scalable analytics programs and influencing content or marketing decisions through data
• Experience working cross-functionally with creative, marketing, and product teams
• Ability to synthesize complex data sets into compelling, stakeholder-ready narratives
• Familiarity with A/B testing, audience segmentation, and experimentation design
• Fluency in social listening tools like Radarly, Sprout, ListenFirst, or similar
• Strategic mindset with a strong attention to detail and bias for action
• Passion for Epic's mission and player communities-especially Fortnite, UEFN, and Unreal Engine
