What You'll Do

As a Senior Producer with the Online Platform Department, you'll be responsible for owning the priorities, roadmap, and execution for your teams. You are expected to build and manage effective work systems for your teams and guide junior Producers in refining their own systems. You will lead single or multiple team initiatives and ensure the status of your projects are transparent and readily available to team members, managers, and stakeholders through proactive and excellent communication skills. You will partner with Engineering and QA leads to make sure all of your team's projects are broken down and well organized. You'll own the development and communication of daily and long-term projects for Engineering and partner teams. You will facilitate team planning sessions by partnering with your leads to plan out the work of your teams to support the goals of your Department. Senior Producers are expected to be excellent individual contributors as well as mentors to their production counterparts. We'll look to you to help level up Production processes across your department by leveraging your extensive knowledge gained through a strong background in project management.

In this role, you will
• Own the development, communication, and management of both daily and long-term project planning for Engineering and associated teams
• Drive long-term, multi-team technical initiatives by proactively managing risks, ambiguous requirements, and tight deadlines
• Liaise and work with members of teams across Epic to ensure that all feature and support requests are handled and prioritized properly
• Mentor and support junior Producers through escalation and conflict resolution as necessary
• Own your team's processes by partnering with leads on work methods, priorities, risk management, and resource allocation
• Proactively communicate frequently and efficiently with the rest of the production team and team leads on project status, risks, and opportunities
• Manage and refine your team's project management tools (Jira, Trello, Sheets)

What we're looking for
• Previous experience working in a production role where you've managed cross-functional teams in the creation and delivery of complex projects
• Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
• Knowledge of game development, software development process, and project management practices
• Experience in an environment where you had to exhibit problem-solving skills daily, viewing each new problem as an opportunity for success
• Self-starter, you approach challenges creatively and methodically, seeing them through to final resolution
• Have the ability to communicate with varying levels of stakeholders, within your team and throughout the company
• Ability to drive high velocity, high impact development cycles, balancing out short-term needs and long-term vision
• Ability to adapt and be effective in new situations within a highly dynamic environment
