What you'll do

The Senior Marketing Manager will manage and oversee various initiatives in conjunction with the other marketing managers, reporting to the Director of Marketing. The role entails daily oversight and management of initiative GTM plans, 1st party support, 3rd party partnerships as well direct coordination with social and influencers marketing managers. The SMM role also includes collaboration with cross-functional publishing teams including Creative Services and Communications. Additional work includes coordination with Business Intelligence, Content, Design and Online teams to provide Marketing's POV on overall game initiatives. In coordination with the Director of Marketing, it is also an important mentoring and best practices modeling role to help grow and empower marketing coordinators and junior members of the team.

In this role, you will:
• Collaborate with the Director of Marketing and publishing teams (Communications and Creative Media) to develop detailed strategic promotional plans for all Rocket League initiatives.
• Work with the marketing team to develop Go-To-Market plans and execution of all marketing tactics.
• Coordinate with cross-functional studio teams (production, design, art, online services, business intelligence) to ensure broad marketing POVs and visibility on all initiatives.
• Work with UA/paid media teams to coordinate co-marketing strategies and paid media assets.
• Manage relationships and building strategic and tactical marketing plans with 1st party publishing platforms across their omin-channels and online platforms.
• Assist and collaborate with Creative Media and to develop innovative and authentic marketing assets, ensuring buy-in from key internal stakeholders and timely execution.
• Participate in the development of the marketing budget for Rocket League and managing compliance and tracking with finance and legal.
• Evaluate and develop post-mortems for all marketing initiatives, coordinating feedback from business intelligences, development teams and external agencies.
• Coordinate marketing research and focus groups with Business Intelligence and Insight Groups in order to incorporate key finding into future initiatives.

What we're looking for:
• 5-8 years of experience in video game marketing, including PC, console and mobile gaming
• Excellent understanding of digital strategy and proven ability to execute campaigns across search, social and online - including experience with media agencies and 1st party platforms.
• Background in marketing, communications, business, or related fields
• A passion for gaming
• A deep knowledge of Rocket League and previous Psyonix projects and games
• Healthy business analytics, strategic development, project management, consumer research, relationship management, and problem-solving skills
• A strong background in business/game analytics and competitive analysis - including a keen understanding and awareness of industry trends.
• Ability to translate campaign results into actionable insights and optimization - including developing key KPI and ROI metrics/dashboards
• Outstanding written and verbal communication skills with an attention to detail
• Creative and critical thinking skills with strong self-motivation and work ethic
• A team-focused outlook with a high degree of tact and diplomacy
• Proficiency with business-related software, including Microsoft Office, Confluence/Jira, Google App suite and production tools.
