What You'll Do

In this role you will be responsible for developing engine features to unlock the capabilities of Unreal Engine in the car, and you will play a significant role in determining the future of in-car entertainment. You will be part of our HMI team, and work hand in hand with Epic's engine developers and platform engineers.

In this role, you will
• Develop, deploy, debug, and maintain features of Unreal Engine and other technologies that help deliver great real-time HMI experiences
• Collaborate with the Platform Team and Engineers to implement HMI-specific features and support the rollout to stakeholders
• Develop bleeding-edge products that raise the bar and leverage the broad Epic Games and FN ecosystems.
• Work with the best OEMs in the industry to fuel innovation utilizing the power of Unreal Engine

What we're looking for
• Excellent C++ skills and software engineering principles
• Scripting experience with Python, Blueprints or a similar language
• Knowledge and experience working with Android OS, Linux experience is a plus
• Strong troubleshooting and debugging skills
• Extensive expertise in optimizing Unreal Engine or other large software systems for optimal performance across various platforms
• You're user-focused, passionate, solutions-focused, and innovative. These traits equal success at Epic and influence everything we do
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills with demonstrated ability to communicate fluently in English
