What You'll Do

We're looking for an experienced QA Lead for Fortnite! In this role you will be a leader in developing a quality strategy in digital art content on the Fortnite project. You will be guiding quality for seasonal releases, partnering with other discipline leads, and innovating and improving our seasonal quality processes to deliver an epic experience for our players. If you are passionate about leading and mentoring experienced QA professionals in an exciting, fast-paced environment, we'd love to talk to you! We are a creative group within a large organization that prizes intelligence, creativity, and nimble problem-solving skills. Our ideal candidate is a self-starter with game QA management experience and has a passion for innovating and improving upon the Fortnite Art Process.

In this role, you will
• Assign, supervise, and evaluate the performance of appropriate internal and external resources for the testing, documentation, and research of relevant issues on Fortnite Cosmetic and Gameplay Art features
• Review game and media experiences to make sure they are fun, engaging, and high quality
• Collaborate with the development team to analyze qualitative and quantitative game test results, evaluate their importance across a matrix of factors, and action against them in real time
• Develop and iterate on quality strategies that encompass staffing, technical requirements, product space, and involvement throughout the development lifecycle
• Audit testing approaches, provide detailed recommendations for improvement, and address tactical gaps
• Identify risks to the quality of testing in the product, process, and people and then develop and execute on solving those challenges through internal and external resources
• Evaluate, nurture, and grow the skills and the usage of our Quality Assurance staff (Analysts, Engineers, Testers). Advocate for the player and artist; be the voice of the quality in the room

What we're looking for

• Experience working on a hybrid in-house/outsourced team in a fast-paced environment
• Breathtaking time-management and multitasking capabilities
• Experience in functional and non-functional testing in digital art and audio spaces
• Bachelor's Degree or equivalent experience
• Knowledge and experience using UE, Shotgrid, JIRA, and other large collaborative tools
• Strong communication skills, ability to advocate
• Experience using qualitative metrics to measure types of fun
• Selfless collaborator with and inspirational leader of small teams on short deadlines
