What We Do

The mission of the Unreal Cloud Services team is to help create the ultimate suite of content creation tools with native support for collaboration and cloud. We believe that the future of content creation is made of small, connected virtual teams coming together for projects that use tools to considerably simplify the process of creating high-quality content.

What You'll Do

We're looking for a Product Specialist to help us build the best 3D tools in the world. We're building the Metaverse and this is going to take real innovation and laser focused vision. You'll work directly with our product management team guiding internal engineering and design groups and liaising with world class customers on a regular basis. You will become THE expert in our new systems and tools as we develop them and feed your insights, requirements, specifications to guide our vision.

In This Role You Will
• Deep dive into workflows and challenges faced by our customers
• Learn to use our existing systems within the Unreal ecosystem and new systems as they're being developed
• Work with account managers and proactively search out users who can contribute insight and guidance into our development process
• Sketch out, specify, validate and where applicable, prototype new features and tools
• Communicate feedback, insight and feature proposals regularly and efficiently with product management, design and engineering teams. This will be both written and verbal feedback in the form of presentations, feature briefs or customer reports.
• Be our users main point of contact and their representative in the design and development process. You will deeply understand our users requirements and expectations and be able to express this effectively as we're building the UE of the future
• Ensure our tools are world class and exactly meet our customers expectations by regularly using, reviewing and critiquing new features and prototypes and validating them directly with customer

What We're Looking For
• A passion for helping build innovative products and workflows
• Experience and understanding of games or visual effects tools and pipelines
• Direct experience using or supporting real time development in systems such as Unreal, Unity or similar in-house engines
• Great communications skills both written and oral
• Proactive, self motivated people who will seek out opportunities to improve our products and processes
• Empathy for creative artists working at the highest level of quality and performance
• A vision for how creative content tools and pipelines should be and how we get there from here
• Scripting or Blueprint type experience in Unreal, Unity or 3D DCCs highly beneficial
• You're user-focused, passionate, scrappy, solutions-focused, and innovative. These traits equal success at Epic and influence everything we do

This position is open in multiple locations across North America and Europe including: San Francisco, Edinburgh, Seattle, Berlin and Vancouver.
