What You'll Do

Epic Games is looking to add an experienced performance marketing leader to its cross-product Paid Media team. We're looking for a Paid Media Manager who is a builder and problem-solver, ready to tackle new challenges by creating solutions that have never been done before in the User Acquisition industry. The ideal candidate knows the advertising ecosystem deeply enough to take full advantage of all its tools and strengths and to innovate at scale. In this role, you will develop media strategy for one or more of Epic's first-party titles, working with marketing, creative, analytics, and product teams to drive growth and improved engagement through paid and organic channels.

In this role, you will
• Lead paid media campaign strategy across PC, mobile, PlayStation, Xbox, and Switch that must comply with privacy-first measurement and attribution
• Collaborate with game, marketing teams, and senior leadership to build out marketing plans and media campaigns for key initiatives
• Present reports to senior leadership, including learnings and outcomes of media spend
• Mentor paid media managers in campaign execution excellence
• Spearhead new ways of problem-solving for growth and retention using quantitative and creative methods
• Build relationships with ad partners--including a hands-on approach, working with partners to test new things and push what is possible
• Partner with engineers and analysts to understand and improve in-house systems for reporting and programmatic optimization

What we're looking for
• Manager-level experience in digital media, preferably within the games industry across PC, mobile, and console verticals with an excess of 2 years of directly relevant experience
• Experience running and setting up global campaigns, including operations, insights, and optimization based on different countries and cultures
• Demonstrated ability to communicate performance to a diverse internal audience of executives, creatives, and engineers; with clarity and data accuracy
• Experience building teams and working independently
• Full understanding of UA attribution: how it works, attribution logic/models, all types of fraud, and data privacy
• Have pioneered new products and optimization methods with ad partners
• Experience designing, running, and reporting creative tests
• Experience doing UA worldwide, knowing the channel, creative, and bidding nuances of each major region
• Expert in Excel, Tableau; SQL and query skills is a bonus
• More bonus points if you have designed and built an automated solution that made a significant impact on company KPIs
