What You'll Do

We are looking for a creative, strategic, self-motivated Mobile Platform Partnerships Director to join our team. In this role you will drive and support Epic's goals with mobile partners across a wide range of teams and surface areas (e.g. Fortnite, Unreal Engine, Rocket League, Epic Games Store, Partnerships, Finance, BD, Legal, etc).

In this role, you will
• Own the building, rebuilding, and maintaining of strong relationships with mobile platforms, carriers, OEMs, etc
• Leverage your deep experience with mobile platforms to provide guidance and help chart the course forward
• Work in depth with a broad array of disciplines and stakeholders across leadership, product, marketing, growth, publishing, legal and more to ensure that mobile projects are executed successfully and at Epic quality
• Build and maintain relationships with key internal stakeholders/teams and provide regular feedback and guidance on how best to execute in the mobile space
• Provide up-to-date platform capability/policy/strategy information and risk evaluation and mitigations
• Constantly evaluate the landscape for new partnership opportunities to increase player engagement
• Contribute as needed to team process improvements and transparency including overall team updates and direct stakeholder updates

What we're looking for
• Significant meaningful experience working at or with mobile platforms, ideally working in games or adjacent areas, and with the ability to ''hit the ground sprinting'' in the context of mobile topics
• Demonstrated ability to build and manage key strategic relationships (both internal and external) over time and with strong positive outcomes
• Ability to manage multiple projects and issues in parallel and ''context switch'' between them fluidly
• Outstanding communication skills, including the ability to navigate the proverbial minefields in both written and verbal engagements
• Ability to work at lighting speed or play the long game depending on circumstances
• Understanding of and interest in gaming and the metaverse
• Additional partnerships, business development experience, technical, or game development experience a plus
• Experience delivering ''the impossible'' a plus

This role is open to multiple locations (including CA & WA).

Pay Transparency Information

The expected annual base pay range(s) for this position are detailed below. Each base pay range is relevant only for individuals who are residents of or will be expected to work within the specified locale. Compensation varies based on a variety of factors, which include (but aren't limited to) things such as skills and competencies, qualifications, knowledge, and experience. In addition to base pay, most employees are eligible to participate in Epic's generous benefit plans and discretionary incentive programs (subject to the terms of those plans or programs).

California Base Pay Range

$184,651 - $270,821 USD

Washington Base Pay Range

$176,258 - $258,511 USD
