What You'll Do
The MetaHuman team at Epic Games is looking for an Engine Software Engineer to collaborate with our pipeline team in capturing ML datasets and our product teams on our cutting-edge technologies. Working alongside our various teams of talented professionals, you'll help us push the boundaries and maximise Metahumans' potential.
In this role, you will
• Work in UE to facilitate the creation of datasets for ML training
• Collaborate with the MetaHuman research team to implement product features in Unreal Engine and Unreal Editor for Fortnite (UEFN)
• Identify and solve technical challenges
• Contribute to documentation and best practices
What we're looking for
• Strong proficiency in C++ programming
• Professional experience in the games industry in a programming/engineering role with a focus on engine development and tooling.
• Excellent communication skills
• A passion for gaming technology and innovation
• Knowledge of character animation systems is desirable
• Experience with UE4/UE5 and/or UEFN is a plus
