Team Assistant, Unscripted Television (6 month FTC)

Role

Reporting to the SVP Production & Operations, the Team Assistant is a key member of our vibrant London based development and production team. The role has two parts, the first is supporting the joint EVPs and SVP Production & Operations in the day-to-day business administration e.g. coordinating diaries, scheduling meetings, processing expenses. Alongside this the Team Assistant will have the opportunity to assist in the production of pilot programmes, run-throughs and other development and production activities. The role will provide insight into unscripted TV development and production with the opportunity to learn valuable skills and experience readily transferable into a career in production.

Key Responsibilities:
• Assisting the two London based EVPs, Unscripted Television with the day-to-day running of the business, including but not limited to diary management, liaising with broadcasters, buyers and talent management to schedule meetings, processing expenses, organising and updating the development slate
• Assisting the EVPs, SVP Production & Operations and Head of Production with the administration of the business such as maintaining the development database, production spreadsheets, desk requirements
• Booking travel and accommodation when necessary
• Arranging hospitality and providing teas/coffee/water and lunches for meetings.
• To deal with internal and external queries and to take messages or direct queries as appropriate.
• To build and maintain working relationships with other Assistants across the Business and within the industry.
• To assist the SVP Production & Operations and Head of Production, as required, with respect to Company-wide administrative initiatives, e.g. accommodation, folder structure, storage, archiving, recycling, core systems and IT queries.
• To assist with communication with Facilities on 'office management' issues for Label.
• To liaise with SVP Production & Operations, Head of Production and Production Managers to maintain desk / space plans and provide regular updates to the SVP/HoP and/or Facilities

Key Competencies/Experience:
• Excellent organisational and communication skills
• Demonstrates integrity when dealing with confidential information and material.
• Ability to analyse information and good visual presentation skills for documents
• A keen and genuine interest in of unscripted television
• Strong communications skills, ability to work independently and as part of a team
• Good IT skills – Word, Excel, PowerPoint
• Ability to work to deadlines
