Job Description
Position Summary: As the most senior communications executive at eOne, the position focuses on leading all internal and external branding and communications efforts for the Company. This position works closely with all divisions of eOne, Hasbro Corporate Communications and celebrates a diversity of voices. The incumbent will be a proven high-performer, engaging and compelling communicator, and through their established network, will create and execute inclusive internal and external communication solutions appropriate for the Company and its content brands. The SVP, Corporate Communications must have a demonstrated track record of successfully working in a dynamic environment with senior executives and key media from across the industry.

Duties and Responsibilities:
• Developing and executing the global corporate communications and corporate publicity strategy aligned to talent-first business objectives
• Providing strategic counsel and communications support to CEO and senior leadership on opportunities and issues facing the business, social and reputational considerations, competitive intelligence, marketplace feedback and emerging trends
• Supporting key strategic initiatives including change management, major partnerships, and M&A
• Developing and executing dynamic employee engagement tools, connecting team members to each other and the business goals including Employee Networks
• Owning and bringing to life company values and brand positioning initiatives and be a champion for Hasbro's Global Purpose Organization, leading development and execution across eOne of initiatives to address social and societal opportunities and issues
• Proactively and reactively developing issues management plans and procedures to rapidly and effectively take action as required. Develop thoughtful, strategic and meaningful responses to time-sensitive media inquiries as they arise
• Identifying and creating opportunities for cross-divisional strategic marketing and publicity efforts by positioning role at the epicenter of communication activities
• Designing and managing thoughtful strategy to build executives profiles internally and externally, working closely with them to infuse their voice
• Directing the writing, creative development and production of communication materials, including news content, speaking engagements, fact sheets, presentations, corporate reels and corporate marketing assets
• Serving as central point of contact and approval for all news materials company-wide
• Overseeing web presence on a global basis across corporate sites and social platforms
• Leading the development, execution and promotion of corporate events, sponsorships and charitable activities aligned to company purpose
• Monitoring and generate regular background stories in trade and business publications and more specifically for special issues around content launches
• Moving forward public affairs efforts that support divisions on major issues and opportunities
• Participating in projects of all shapes and sizes as required

Qualifications:
• Minimum of 12 years of progressive experience in communications, media or public relations and 5 years of experience building and leading a team of brand and communications professionals
• Bachelor's Degree in Communications, Journalism, Public Relations, Marketing or equivalent work-related experience
• Superior writing and editing skills
• Demonstrated leadership experience managing a diverse and inclusive team
• Demonstrated success developing and managing communications programs including writing and editing for executive-level staff
• Strong understanding of the importance of compliance, integrity and corporate ethics
• Corporate event planning experience
• Proven experience writing for various mediums and delivering key messages through a variety of communications methods and outlets
• Strong business acumen and experience engaging and contributing to a wide breadth of business and policy issues, often beyond the scope of communications
• Strong interpersonal skills to interact with internal and external stakeholders at all levels
• Highly attentive to detail

Technical Competencies
• Proficient in all MS Office Applications including publishing software
• Project management skills

Travel Requirements
• North America and international travel required post pandemic
